Erin Loken is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with expertise in the treatment and evaluation of anxiety, OCD, Tic Disorders and Tourette Syndrome, mood disorders, and relational problems. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy for adults, teens, and children with anxiety.
Educated in cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques by the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Clinic and Michael Cameron, PhD., attending psychologist (UCLA), Erin has sought the best education and training for CBT techniques. She also holds a certification in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) from the Tourette Association of America.
Erin has been practicing for fourteen years and specializing in CBT for over a decade. She has also held positions in the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente, the UCLA Rape Treatment Center working with high school populations, and an intensive outpatient drug rehabilitation center for teenagers and young adults.
Having led numerous groups for teenagers with anxiety and depression at these facilities, she is skilled in working with children, teens and families. Erin knows how anxiety can damage our valued and necessary relationships, leading to distress and depression. She is dedicated to helping others manage their anxiety so they can lead happier, fuller lives.
